Lip Blush Policies

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit is applied toward your service total on the day.

All lip blush and lip neutralization treatments include a complimentary touch-up session at 3 months, valid within 5 months of your initial appointment.

Reschedule at least 48 hrs in advance, or your deposit will be forfeited.

No-show: deposit will be forfeited, and future bookings may be declined.

Lip PMU may not be suitable if you are:

• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
• Have active cold sores/herpes outbreaks (should be on antiviral medication before appointment)
• Taking blood thinners (e.g. aspirin, warfarin)
• Have severe allergies or sensitive skin
• Have active skin conditions on or around the lips (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea)
• Have had recent lip fillers (please wait at least 4 weeks)
• Have had recent Botox injections near the lip area (please wait at least 4 weeks)
• Have uncontrolled diabetes
• Have autoimmune conditions
• Are prone to keloid scarring
• Are under 18 years old

Gently exfoliate your lips 3–5 days before your appointment. Apply a lip mask every night for 1 week before to deeply hydrate. Drink plenty of water to hydrate from the inside out. Stop using products containing retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or strong acids on or near the lips at least 1 week before.

Avoid lip fillers at least 4 weeks before. Avoid alcohol at least 24 hours before to prevent excessive bleeding, bruising and poor pigment retention. Come without lip makeup on the day. We recommend avoiding your appointment during your menstrual cycle as skin sensitivity may be heightened.

If you are prone to cold sores, please take antiviral medication prior to your appointment.

Keep your lips dry for the first 24 hours. Apply the healing ointment 3–5 times a day for 7 days. Do not pick, peel or scratch the treated area as this can affect pigment retention.

Avoid sun exposure, swimming, saunas, and intense exercise for at least 14 days. Avoid makeup on the lips until fully healed. Avoid spicy, salty or acidic foods for at least a week as they can irritate the lips.

Immediately after, your lips will appear darker and slightly swollen. Over the following 7–14 days, the colour will lighten and may look lighter than expected as your lips heal and peel. It takes up to 3 months for the true colour to fully settle. Follow your aftercare instructions during this time for the best results.
